THE MOST HANDSOME MAN ALIVE

THE OFFICIAL SOURCE · EST. WHEN THE DEMAND BECAME IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE

Statement

An authoritative source was needed. It has been remarked upon, for some years now and by a range of qualified observers, that I am the most handsome man alive. Rather than leave the public to piece this together from scattered accounts, I have consolidated the record here. You are welcome.

I am aware that a site of this kind invites a certain question. The question is addressed on the Evidence page. Briefly: the photographs are being handled professionally. Check back next week.

The Handsome Index

A longitudinal measure, maintained daily. It only goes up. Adversity, I have found, is flattering.

TIME →    (vertical axis: handsomeness. units: obviously.)

Testimonials

"I have examined many mouths. This one belongs to a face." — a dentist
"We have never had a subject who required so little correction." — a lighting professional
"He is my brother and I can confirm that he is handsome in the way that a photocopy is also a document." — my brother, who is also handsome, in that way
"No comment." — the Director of a research institute, whose findings are, I'm told, preliminary
"Scoreboard." — a fan from the Arcade

Press Kit

Available on request: measurements, preferred lighting (north-facing, late afternoon), a list of appearances (a mall; a fountain; a regional bank commercial), and a statement on milk, which has nothing to do with any of this.

IMAGES: being handled professionally.   REQUESTS: under review.

Ask Lance

Q: How do I become more confident?
A: Confidence is a responsibility. I carry it so you don't have to. But if you must: stand near a window at four o'clock and say nothing. The light will do the rest, or it won't, and either way you'll have learned something about yourself and about windows.

Q: Is it true you've never shown a photo?
A: Evidence is for the unsure.

Q: Does milk make you more attractive?
A: I have been asked to address this by a man who keeps a page about it. No. Next question. (I do drink it. That is unrelated.)

Fan mail is read hourly. A day without a comment produces an essay. You wouldn't want that.
